What do you get when you put two fashion editors, a love for fashion, style and Los Angeles together, why Presse Boutique for course. Renee Roman Klein and Zoe Schaeffer are the two geniuses who made this dream boutique and website a reality. The website, presseboutique.com, has an impressive 31 designer roster, from the likes of: Nina Ricci, Doo Ri, Richard Chai (current designer for the GO International collection for Tar-jay), to Proenza Schouler (former designer for Tar-jay).

Not only are the clothes amazing, chic and so very LA, but the owners, actually have a fun blog that they manage to update daily, with great stories of glamorous photo shoots, gossip a la Perez Hilton, and their love of Tasti D Lite!

After reading reading a few blogs, I had to see what pre-fall trends we are expected to integrate into our wardrobes, and what sale items I could pick up on the way. To my astonishment, almost all the clothes, accessories and shoes were on sale! I found three items I couldn't see my fall "08 without, first up the tank top, the lantern pants (again), or a paper bag skirt, and killer platforms. The tank is lovely because it shows off your back; I pride myself in working out 4 times a week, when do I get the chance to show off my work? The look starts of with a sheer racer back tank by Acne. Then you can either pair it with a pair of satiny slouchy roll up pants by Sari Gueronor a fun paper bag mini by Proenza Schouler , depending on the weather. But of course no look would be complete without the right shoes, so for my chic minimalist look I need to bring my austral area up a few notches, and these cracked leather strappy sandals by Proenza Schouler would make Carrie Bradshaw proud!   

Presse Boutique was named by Elle magazine as one of their favorite boutiques. Now decide for yourself if you enjoy the site as much as I do.
