High Horse Accessories

I had a chance to step into High Horse Accessories the other day and meet with designer and boutique owner, Paula.

Paula is a beautiful doe eyed Colombian who passion is designing chic handbags with quality leather, at a reasonable price.

In addition to her handbags, Paula's store is packed with wonderful finds, mostly from

South America

... items that are fresh and not available in every local boutique or big chain store

She has fun, unusual jewelry (I picked up a gorgeous shell statement ring),

Coats made of Alpaca, and beaded belts.

I also scored a classic beige structured tote in faux croc that I know will suit me in the fall as well as next spring!

Check this out!  I just love the circle handle!

Sounds like a great find! I have a friend that has a lot of relatives in Peru (kind of odd because he is Chinese and African-American) but he brings back all sorts of great stuff when he comes back from a trip there.

Alpaca scarves, Peruvian-styled hats, odd sex position key chains, there are a lot cool things there that not a lot of people know about!

Thanks for this new find! I'm always looking for darling handbag designs and designers. It's so true that artisan-made clothing and accessories are more original and full of details and love. My Seattle clothing designer, Suzabelle, is so wonderful about all the details. I sell her pieces out...it also helps that I have the lowest prices on Suzabelle, anywhere around. But that's because I adore her and want to share her designs with everyone!
