I have been day-dreaming of what my favorite fall looks will be this year, but I couldn't seem to find one site that had them (anything purple, shrunken Moto jackets, plaid) all in the same place. Thankfully I was intro'd to Pink Mascara, a one stop shop for fall trends, with a laundry list of hot designers to back it up!
As I was perusing the 'Statement Pieces' section, I found the most insanely gorgeous pieces that I need to own asap! I was intantly drawn to a killer pair of Dolce Vita heels, the Cher heel with cutouts in suede are to die for. The gray color is much softer than the prerequisite black for the upcoming seasons. And your feet will be the talk of the town, or at least the party!
It was almost a sign when I saw this fuchsia dress by Elizabeth and James, because the Dolce Vita heels were on the model (see pic). The bell sleeves, the boat neckline and its 100% silk...I die, the silhouette is bananas! I am totally agreeing with everything Elizabeth and James are coming out with, another fave by the Olson dynamic duo, is this charming plaid shirt
. 'The freshman' as it is called is so on point with the plaid trend, if you can't find the early 90's grunge plaid shirt you rocked for years, now's the time to get a new one. The freshman comes in three different colors, p.s. red plaid is huge for fall, thanks D&G!
Shoes, check, shirt, check, wait I need jeans, ahh perfect, these Citizens of Humanity skinnies in 'slick' will work . I adore skinnies, and they aren't going anywhere this season; the dark color actually makes the denim look like they were dipped in an oil slick rinse.
Another huge trend is the chunky oversized man watch. This Freelook 18K rose gold watch has a touch of femininity with the rose gold, yet totally gives the man watch a run for its money. This is one piece of bling you won't want to take off for years to come.
A statement dress is a must for upcoming holiday gatherings, it's even better when its in a gasp-worthy purple! Purple is a huge trend for fashiony women (and men!) whether it be on bags, shoes or dresses. Madison Marcus gets it right with this kimono tunic in 100% silk. The tunic is long enough to double as a dress, and short enough to pair under jeans. With the unpredictable weather in San Francisco, who can afford to leave the house without outerwear? Once again Madison Marcus to the rescue,
this croc leather blazer, with satiny lining will do the trick! It's the perfect cover up, pair with long gloves and a cashmere scarf on blustery days.
This last one is a bit ironic, considering I just said SF's weather is unpredictable, but this Lauren Moshi Swing Pocket tank is undeniably chic, Lauren Conrad was seen sporting it not too long ago. With its racer back and cute pockets, the dress works overtime doubling as tunic dress or top.
My shopping cart at Pinkmascara.com is full with these seven essentials for fall. Good thing S&H is free after $150 spent! I can't wait to get these in the mail; I'll be the best dressed girl in town!
Oooooooooooooooooooooo. I can honestly say that I would buy everything pictured in this blog and that never happens. Especially those heels...if I wore heels. I bought myself a pair of one-inch ankle boots in that gray recently and am loving them to death.
