By the Devil wears Marc Jacobs
This just in, soon to be NYC socialite and fashionista extraordinare, Whitney Port from the Hills has officially launched her Whitney Eve '09 Spring Collection! The budding actress has been seen on The Hills since its start in 2005. The show has brought stardom and success to all in its path, it was only natural that all its key players get their turn in the spotlight.
For Whitney Port, her time has come! She will now be the main character in her own spin off show: The City, based in fabulousNYC, with her very own: male suitors, frenimies, fashion foes and drama included. I will definitely be watching the action go down late December, but I am also keeping a close watch on Whitney's collection. I have always admired her sense of style and taste, and her line leaves little to be desired, many of her pieces remind me of the bubbly, hippie-ish, always carrying words of wisdom Whitney.
The collection will not be sold until January or February, but here are a few of my favorite looks!
Like I said these epitomize what Whitney Port is, a fun, feminine, California girl. She mentions her influences on this collection are growing up in LA (hence all the tank tops, short skirts), color, and her love of vintage, mixing the old with the new.
Out of these six looks my favorites are the yellow lime dress, I can see myself wearing it somewhere warm near a beach town in sandals, or even in the big city with stilettos. The business-y suit jacket with the flirty flapper skirt, and the Ty dyed tank is also great, it mixes formal with casual for a stellar combination! And of course how could we forget to give special mention to the amazing purple back ruffle tank- so beautiful and flirty!
Well, Whitney you inspire girls around the country with your style and now your fascinating Spring '09 collection. I can not wait for warm weather to don these frocks!
What do you think, do you like her collection?
What a great line Whitney has come out with! Where can I find it?
