As we begin to approach the fourth week of the new year, some of us might be struggling to keep our resolutions, and some have already given up altogether. I am somewhere in the middle. My resolution this year was to shop less, or I should say spend less and get more!
This year, so far, I have spend an undisclosed amount on my boyfriend's upcoming birthday present, Lady Gaga concert tickets, and too high of an amount on shopbop to pretend I am still trying to keep my resolution!
Maybe I can pull a do-over and start again on February, because on February 1st, Target (as in Tar-jay) is launching their Go International Private Label Collection 5. Sure it might not sound so exciting, but trust me, this collection is worth pulling an all nighter- day after Thanksgiving status. The best part about this collection is the rocker-chic of the moment look, the next best part is the amazingly affordable price- it is Target after all, i.e. I get to do over my reso and spend LESS!!!
The first two pieces caught my eye, and I am dying to have them both. The cobalt blue dress with the asymmetrical side collar zipper is stunning. Everything about it beautiful, the color is gorgeous, the zipper is brilliant, and cotton lightweight-ness of this shift will be perfect to dress up or down in the following months to come.
Those in the know, know that jumpsuits were all over the catwalks in Europe. Never one to shy away from a bold trend, Target knew this next piece is what the savvy fashionista on a budget really wanted. I can't tell from the photo if the material is velvet or some type of satin, whatever it is I want it! The draping for the top can be worn two ways- scrunched up, or off the shoulder a la Studio 54!
Here are some more styles that I liked....
Do you like any of these as much as I do? Will I see you at Target on February 1st? Also available online.
