Meet Sunny: A New BrandHabit Blogger!

 Hello fashionistas around the world! I am a new Fashion Writer at BrandHabit. I hope you will follow my posts!

Let me start off by telling you a little about me. My name is Sunny and I live in San Francisco (California). I love fashion. It is so much more than (just) putting clothes together. Fashion is an art form that reflects our culture and lives. Like a living, breathing entity, fashion is constantly evolving and changing. That is the beauty of fashion. Things get recycled and come back with a slight twist. Other designers push our limits and take us into the future with their designs. The possibilities are endless.

I work full time in software marketing and I love to see how designers incorporate CAD software into their design process. I’m when not working, I enjoy following fashion---meeting designers (like Alexis Bittar a few months ago), seeing exhibits (I caught the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met, days before it closed in New York!) and of course, shopping. I also a volunteer at Dress for Success, San Francisco (okay, I faxed my volunteer application and I’m awaiting the details). Whether I’m putting together my outfit or decorating my apartment, I like things to reflect who I am – a mix of modern with old. I often watch old Hollywood movies for inspiration. I enjoy travelling and seeing different cultures come together. All these things define my sense of style.

My sense of style is best described as being feminine with a mix of bohemian, a splash of sexy and always fun. I don’t like over accessorizing or going crazy with trends (believe me, at some point we all have been victims to that). I love color, prints, asymmetrical cuts and attention to details. For example, Dior shoes have subtle intricacies such as zippers on heels, hardware at the ankle. My favorite designers & labels are Dior, Valentino, Betsey Johnson, Alexis Bittar, Fluxus and Lauren Moshi.

Quality and comfort are important to me and I’m often on a quest to find the perfect items, may it be a pair of boots or the perfect mascara. I also have a flair for finding amazing deals and I’m very knowledgeable about fashion labels and beauty products. I look forward to sharing my thoughts with you.

Say "Hi" to your new Latin American correspondent. My name is Erika. I'm a graphic designer and writer who is obsessed with fashion.  Fashion is a way of life for me. As a fashion lover, I'd like to show you my own point of view about this world, that goes beyond clothes and trends.

I think we are saying something to the world when we dress up. It's a way to express yourself and show your own voice. One way or another, it's just an attitude towards life. That's the way I like to see it. I have fun exploring which outfit is perfect for each occasion or which accessory or garment will stand out--without being too much to handle.

I will show you how to discover old vintage pieces and combine them with a new designer garment and make a unique statement that makes you look great.   That's what fashion is all about: having fun and expressing your own personality!

I´ll be delighted to bring you guys these outfit-tips.  We always need a variety of outfits for different life-fashionista situations:  work, parties, first dates, and you name it, literally! (Your suggestions are always welcome)

Trend spotting is another thing I love.   I love seeing how people work trends with their own style and pull it off perfectly. Streets are the new fashion catwalks, and I will be taking photographs on the street in Latin America to share these looks with you. I will also be exposing you to fantastic, young, local designers who are anxious to show their talent to the world!

My personal style can be defined as simple and chic, but with a "wow-element" to make it shine. The key is to always be comfortable in my own shoes and with what I'm wearing.

So get ready for a fashion trip! I'm sure we'll have fun.
